Friday and Saturday, September 21st and 22nd (5 to 9 p.m.)

Celebrate Hawaiian culture at SALT at Our Kakaʻako’s monthly Pa‘akai Marketplace. The cultural showcase takes place in the SALT Barn and brings together Hawaiʻi artists, crafters and cultural practitioners. Held in collaboration with PAʻI Foundation, this is a free family and pet-friendly event.

On Friday, enjoy music from Ian O’Sullivan at 5 p.m., followed by Kevin Okimoto at 7:15 p.m. On Saturday, listen to Mike Tulba at 5 p.m., followed by Dayton Watanabe at 7:15 p.m. For more fun, stop by the SALT spin wheel for a chance to win great prizes.

Cultural classes will also be offered by PA‘I Foundation whose goal is to preserve and perpetuate Hawaiian cultural traditions for future generations. For more information, visit PAʻI Foundation at paifoundation.org. Pa‘akai Marketplace is held on the third Friday and Saturday of the month.

While at SALT at Our Kakaʻako, guests can also visit the unique stores and restaurants that make it urban Honolulu’s most exciting gathering place.
