CreativeMornings Honolulu seminar with Kuha‘o Zane, creative director of Sig Zane Designs and SZKaiao, at The Barn at SALT at Our Kaka‘ako on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.
In keeping with the global CreativeMornings theme NATIVE, this free lecture with Kuha‘o Zane, creative director of Sig Zane Designs and SZKaiao, will showcase how ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i and cultural values inform Kuha‘o’s work and art. To accompany the NATIVE theme worldwide, the global CreativeMornings headquarters selected Native Hawaiian artist Jack Soren to create an illustration. Soren’s art pays homage to the feather cloaks and capes known as ‘ahu‘ula, which the Native Hawaiians would trade with others as a way of sharing the Hawaiian culture as they traveled around the world.
This event is FREE but seating is limited and registration is required.
