On Saturday, July 22, 2023, Bark in the Park returned to Kalako‘eli Courtyard in Our Kaka‘ako, bringing together our fur-ific friends, their paw-rents, and loved ones for an afternoon of fun!

The afternoon was full of activities that brought the community together and got heart rates elevated as Orangetheory® Fitness was joined by Sweat + Soul for our very paw-pular pet workout classes.
“Bark, ruff-ruff!”
Lily, a mixed-breed rescue pup shared as her human, K., performed squats, crunches, and more during their set!
Our Kaka‘ako events have been known to bring out attendees from around the island to enjoy some of the best local grinds and to satisfy the Inner Foodie. Our Pop-Up Market kept that trend going by offering some of the tastiest pet treats from vendors like Aloha Crisps, Belly Rub Kitchen, Chop Chop Chews, and Raw Feeding Hawaii. And to keep our humans nourished, Middle Eats and Olay’s Thai brought their menus to life in the Courtyard and the H-Mart Food Court was rocking!
One couple who ate at Giovanni’s in the Food Court, saw the event going on, then went home to grab the pup they were dog-sitting, and brought him back for the fun!
And once the workouts and eating were done, we had to make sure our pets left dripped out in the flyest of pet fashion offered by our friends at mix&mutt and Pawloha!
Thank you to the community who joined us that day and to our vendors – Ali‘i Animal Hospital & Resort, Aloha Crisps, Belly Rub Kitchen, Chipperton Pet Photography, Chop Chop Chews, Dis-and-Bark, K9 Secret Service, Middle Eats, mix&mutt, Olay’s Thai, Orangetheory, Pauwela, Pawloha, Raw Feeding Hawaii, Sweat + Soul, and Isle Style Pets – for bringing to life this epic event!
And a very special mahalo to our sponsors and partners, who came together in the spirit of laulima to support this event. We are very grateful for their kōkua as it takes “many hands” to make these events paws-ible!
